We eat maybe around two thousand eggs a year as a family. Maybe more, but dying 20 eggs was more fun and a lot more stressful than all those other eggs combined. Neighborhood kids swarmed the house. Mugs full of food coloring everywhere. Our two, made sure there were going to be no faberge egg designs adding a splash of color to everyone’s design.
Karen was lucky to get a good workout in ahead of time and took everything in stride and made it memorable. Whereas I had a couple minor panic attack when dye was lifted overhead.
