Sunday Morning Back Routine

April 10, 2014 by Karen Leave a Comment

I always look forward to back day, even at 6am on a Sunday morning. Leave after sunrise and I’ll have a pair of two year-old’s with vice grips around my legs and I’m stuck until nap time.   Back gets me to push new things like no other bodypart.  I love deadlifts, pullups and hitting the back at angles I didn’t know possible.  Great way to start the day.   Great way to start the week.

Red Panda doesn’t skip back day

I’m always looking for trying new workouts and workouts that approach a workout in a different way This week I found this helpful video from Jamie Pinder and Gordon Falcetti for my Sunday morning back routine. It tied in my last 2 back workouts nicely, targeting each part of the back together in one routine in new ways.  The only modifications where I did *gulp* unassisted pullups
and full deadlifts.

If your new to weights adopt back day as your favorite day.  Don’t worry about how much weight your moving, just keeping your form solid and make sure you have some good music to listen to.
