Another great chest day.

August 14, 2014 by Karen 2 Comments

Another great chest day! How many moms who have breast fed twins can say that? The ones that hit the weights can, so get on that bench mamas. Your devoted body and overall well being will thank you.
This is a really quick chest pump workout for the early am before your little ones wake up. Yes, we’re still talking about the 5:00 am happy hour, get in that groove.

As much as I like to lie back down at 5:15 am on that flat bench, today I started targeting my pecs upright on the Hammer Strength Chest Press with 135lbs. ( 45lb plates bilaterally) 3 sets of 15 reps.

Then on to Incline Bench with Dumbbells
40lbs dumbbells 12 reps
45lbs 10 reps
50 lbs 6-8 reps

Final wrap with flat bench dumbbell  curls superset with Pec deck machine
Flat bench dumbbell curls using 20-25lbs. 3 sets 12, 10, 8 reps
Pec deck machine 65lbs 3 sets 12-15 reps

You’ll walk straight and proud out of the gym, ready to start the day.
                                                 GO STRONG MAMA’S!!!!!!!

You are truly an inspiration! A mother who breastfeeds twins and still manages to work out? Very impressive! Many moms tend to “let go” of themselves when having kids. We all know how difficult it is to stay on top of our bodies with babies around, but staying fit and active is SO important. You have truly motivated me. Great workout routine you have going, I’m going to apply some of your tips to my own routine.

Yes, I know if I can do it, all moms can and should. My goal is to make it possible. 30 minutes, literally and it can be done. I’m aiming to get the most intense workouts and fit them into that time frame. 30 minutes in and out so all moms can feel and look great! Go Strong Veronica and thanks for your support!
